Health Check-up Camp 2020 – Caring for Our Community’s Well-being
🩺 Because Health is a Human Right
In a year when the world was shaken by a pandemic, Maa Yog Kripa Seva Samiti recognized the urgent need for accessible healthcare, especially for the underprivileged. That’s why we organized a free Health Check-up Camp in 2020 — a small step toward ensuring that every individual, regardless of income, has the opportunity to be cared for.
👨⚕️ What the Camp Offered
With the support of compassionate doctors and health workers, we provided:
General health consultations for children and adults
Blood pressure, sugar level, and basic diagnostic testing
Nutritional advice for growing children and mothers
Free masks, hand sanitizers, and COVID-19 awareness kits
All services were offered free of cost, with proper sanitization, social distancing, and safety protocols in place.
👥 Community Response
More than 80 beneficiaries attended the camp, including families who had never visited a doctor before due to financial constraints. Parents expressed deep gratitude, and children got a chance to learn about personal hygiene and health from medical professionals.
“This camp was a blessing for my family. I got to know my sugar levels and learned how to take care of my health better.”
— Ramesh, Local Beneficiary
💡 Why This Initiative Mattered
The pandemic exposed how vulnerable low-income communities are when it comes to healthcare access. This camp served as both a relief measure and an awareness initiative — ensuring health is treated not as a luxury, but a basic human right.
