Blanket Distribution – Wrapping the Needy in Warmth

Spreading Warmth: Our Blanket Distribution Drive 2025

🧣 Fighting the Cold, One Blanket at a Time

In the harsh winter of 2025, when night temperatures dropped and the streets turned unforgiving for those without shelter, Maa Yog Kripa Seva Samiti stepped forward with its Blanket Distribution Drive — offering not just blankets, but warmth, dignity, and hope.

Our team of volunteers reached out to those sleeping on pavements, near temples, in railway stations, and roadside shelters — people who face the cold with little more than a thin shawl or rag. We handed out clean, warm blankets, and more importantly, a sense of being cared for.

📍 Where the Distribution Took Place

  • Main Area Covered: [Param purva, Kidwai Nagar]

  • Time of Year: January, 2025

  • Beneficiary Groups: Homeless individuals, elderly street-dwellers, migrant laborers

Our volunteers moved through the area during late evening hours — when the cold was at its peak — to reach those in need.

💛 Impact at a Glance

  • Blankets Distributed: 400+

  • Volunteers Engaged: 25+

  • Duration: Single evening outreach

  • Beneficiaries Reached: Elderly, women, families, roadside workers, homeless

We ensured each blanket was distributed respectfully, offering recipients a sense of dignity and compassion.

✨ Real Moments from the Ground

“This is the first blanket I’ve had in years. Thank you for thinking of us.”
– A 70-year-old man living near the shelter

The smiles, folded hands, and quiet blessings reminded us that the smallest actions often carry the greatest meaning.
